Personal Invitation
I want to personally invite you into this work.
I have officially accepted and been handed the torch as the Men’s Ministry Leader at The Vine Christian Fellowship. I am humbled, blessed, grateful, and honestly a bit intimidated.
This was not an easy decision. I prayed over it and wrestled with it for eight months. I sought counsel from men of faith, pillars in my own walk, and each one spoke wisdom into what this calling means and what it costs.
Because the battle we are in is real. Very real.
I know there will be a cost. I know this means carrying more of other men’s hardships, heart issues, and real life circumstances. But this work matters.
It starts in the home.
It starts with men choosing to lead their families, their communities, their businesses, and their churches with humility and conviction.
This is an open invitation to any man who desires to grow in his faith with Jesus, to be strengthened by other men, including those with plenty of gray hair and hard-earned wisdom.
We meet every other Saturday at 8:00 am. Our next meeting is Saturday, 1/31/26, at The Vine in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Come as you are.
Come where you are at.
This past Saturday, we talked about what we are looking to get out of this men’s group. When I got home, I worked on an invocation, and this is what we will open our men’s group with at every meeting.
Men’s Group Mission Statement
We gather to be forged.
Challenged. Strengthened. Held accountable.
We armor up as men of God and step into the battle, because the fight is real and passivity is not an option.
We commit to lead our families, our church, and our community with courage, discipline, and conviction.
We confront our sin, reject compromise, and choose Christ-centered lives.
We stand shoulder to shoulder, carrying one another’s burdens and drawing strength from brotherhood.
We accept correction.
We welcome iron sharpening iron.
We show up.
We hold the line.
We protect our families.
We lead with strength and humility.
IRON SHARPENS IRON.
AMEN.
PS: If you’re needing accountability, growth, and a place to draw closer to Jesus, this is it.
