JEREMY APPROVED BUSINESSES

Local businesses I trust with my name, my reputation, and my recommendations.

If you know me at all, you know I care a lot about how a business operates... not just what they sell.

Anybody can make promises. Anybody can have a nice logo, a polished Facebook page, or a good sales pitch.

What matters to me is what happens behind the scenes.

Who actually shows up to do the work?
How are customers treated?
Is the business honest about what they do in-house and what they don’t?
Do they communicate clearly?
Do they operate with integrity when nobody’s watching?

That’s what this page is about.

Jeremy Approved Businesses are local, family-owned businesses I feel good recommending to the people in my life. These are businesses that, in my experience, value accountability, trust, strong communication, and doing things the right way.

A big part of that for me is knowing who is actually doing the work.

Whenever possible, I respect businesses that rely on real, in-house employees... people who are part of the team, part of the culture, and part of the long-term reputation of the company. That doesn’t mean every subcontractor is shady or untrustworthy... not at all. There are absolutely times when subcontracting makes sense, especially in certain trades or larger projects. But what matters is being upfront about it.

Transparency matters.

If a business uses in-house employees for one part of the job and trusted subcontractors for another, I respect that a whole lot more when they are honest about it from the start. No confusion. No bait and switch. No “I thought your guys were doing all of this” conversations after the fact.

That kind of honesty builds trust... and trust matters.

This page is my way of highlighting businesses that I believe are doing things the right way. Businesses that are family-owned, rooted in the community, and serious about the people they serve.

These are not random listings.

These are not paid placements.

And these are not businesses I’m throwing on here just to fill space.

These are businesses I’m proud to point people toward.

Because when I recommend someone, I’m putting my own name behind it.

And that means something to me.

What Makes a Business Jeremy Approved?

A business does not have to be perfect. But it does need to stand for something.

The businesses I recommend tend to have a few things in common:

  • Family-owned or community-rooted

  • Strong communication

  • Honest about who is doing the work

  • Focused on accountability and trust

  • Committed to quality and long-term relationships

  • The kind of people I’d feel good sending my own family to

If you’re looking for local businesses you can feel good about calling, this is a great place to start.

And if you’re a local business owner who believes in integrity, transparency, craftsmanship, and serving people well... I’d be glad to hear your story.
